Declared on 1 August, done on the due date: the MET City International Half Marathon on 25 October 2026, a week after the 10k.

The numbers
- Chip time: 2:21:22, an average of about 6:42 per km
- Overall: 270 of 389
- Men 30–44: 128 of 183
How it went
- The first 10kms were a breeze
- Tried to keep up with the 2:15 flag bearer but lost him after 11-12km
- Tried to maintain a 6:20min/km
- Had an alert set so pace didn’t go faster than 6:15min/km (bye adrenaline)
- Knees started going down after 16km (when I had planned to push)
- Finished strong with broken knees.
- The finish line was so inspiring
- Good track
- AQI was still 140 (150 in delhi)
- Soothing farms and red sun
What I’d change
- I’d stop at the hydration stands lesser, towards the end, and carry the bottle
- I’d keep up with the flag bearer (or pacer)
